Does Your Child Know God?

When you teach your children to depend on God Almighty, they become more at ease, especially when you are not near to direct them.  Such children develop good morals and know the difference between what is proper as opposed to what is wrong and degrading. In addition, they learn to respect, love, and honor their parents. This happens because they grow to love God’s precepts.

When situations arise, especially among their peers, they will be equipped to make a proper decision and say “No” without feeling ashamed or embarrassed. Realize your children learn an incredible amount of faith they see your trust in Jesus Christ every day. They recognize how you depend on God and learn to love God the way you do. This process is intrinsic as long as you are persistent.

If you as parents don’t exhibit faith in our Blessed Savior, the one who created all things then you can’t expect your children’s faith in God to mature.

In today’s epoch with so much dramatic instability of terrorism, wars, and dreadful weather patterns; it is extremely placating for a child to rely on God. Such a child knows intuitively that Almighty God is protecting him and keeping him safe from calamity day after day.

The finest time to demonstrate your faith to your children is by reading scripture from a children’s Bible book and saying a short prayer before bedtime. Don’t forget to also dedicate time to talk about honoring God at the dinner table.

In six days God created the world with humanity and all its creatures and beasts and He rested on the seventh day of the week or Sabbath. Today, Jesus expects you to worship with believers and rest on the Sabbath.  All children of God receive the seal of God on their foreheads.

Now God hopes you will attend church with other believers to remember, the day Christ resurrected from the dead to pay for your sins. Remember, your children are not your own, they are a gift from God. God expects you to raise your children in His righteous admonition.

When a child learns all about God from their parents, such a child grows up to be unwavering with a self-assured attitude. For this reason, children will learn to innately depend on God from the conduct of their parents.
